Its bold flavour carries a pleasant bitterness and persistent spiciness, making it perfect for salmon carpaccio, tomato-based pasta, grilled fish and white meats.

Producer

Frantoi Cutrera is a Sicilian, family-run olive oil producer with a legacy spanning over a century, and six generations. Since 1906, the Cutrera family has cultivated olives in Chiaramonte Gulfi, a region farmed for its ancient trees and DOP origins. Evolving from mule-powered stone mills in the 1930s to their first modern mill in 1979, the family has continually blended tradition with innovation. In 1999, the fifth generation joined, driving a focus on premium quality and securing DOP Monti Iblei certification, leading to over 650 awards since 2001.

Today, they combine heritage with cutting-edge technology, producing acclaimed oils from 150 hectares of organic groves between Mount Etna and the Mediterranean, exporting to more than 50 countries and supplying gourmet kitchens worldwide.
