Succulent, dried calabacita figs are filled with Brandy-infused dark chocolate truffle and covered in a thin layer of dark chocolate.

Figs are individually wrapped and presented boxed. Box contains three figs.

Producer

From Almoharin in the south of Spain, a land blessed with an abundance of fig trees, comes the Rabitos Royale range of decadent chocolate stuffed figs.

In 1989, the husband-and-wife team of Senador Valero and Felipa Nieva began a small business of combining dried figs and chocolate. This winning flavour duo soon evolved into premium plump figs filled with chocolate truffle. Thanks to the special microclimate of Almoharin, it is possible to cultivate a unique variety of fig called ‘calabacita’. It is this sweet, early maturing fig that is used by Rabitos Royale. After harvest, the ripe figs are all hand graded by a skilled team of women. Each individual fig is then stuffed and coated with chocolate by way of a manual process. You can’t help but notice the attention to detail and pride of all those involved in the enterprise.
