Description
A crackling savoury biscuit made of different layers of puff pastry, filled in between with freshly grated aged Gouda cheese. Rich in flavour and delicately crunchy, these are fantastic with a cold beer.
Verduijn's Master Barkers selected an aged Gouda cheese (48+ months) to use in these cheese crisps for its quality, full bodied cheese flavour and heritage; a cheese for which the Dutch are famous.
Superb on their own, top with a daub of Pronto Rosso or add to antipasto or cheese platters.

Verduijn's is a Dutch family business now being run by the third generation. Their crisp, crunchy, delicious, and tastefully presented sweet and savoury biscuits are made only from pure and natural selected ingredients. Originally founded by Piet Verduijn in his garage (that sounds familiar!) in the charming village of Breskens, the enterprise soon expanded to the point two new locations were required.
After many busy and successful years Piet handed over the running of Verduijn’s to his son Adrie. In 2004, Adrie’s sons, Jean-Pierre and Henk, took charge and opened new purpose-built premises in Eede, Zealand. The successful collaborative efforts of the two brothers and all their creativity has resulted in lots of fabulous new artisanal wafer, cracker and cookie combinations, with our favourites selected for Sabato.
