In three simple steps, you can whip up a crowd pleaser. Crunchy parchment crackers layered with melted cheese and a flavoursome paste? Yes please!
Serves 4 as a snack or finger food
4 sheets Cherchi Sardinian parchment crackers
Giuliano Tartufi salsa tartufata
Meyer Maasdam cheese
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
Lay a parchment cracker onto the prepared oven tray. Lightly spread with salsa tartufata and top with thinly sliced cheese (the surface does not need to be fully covered with cheese).
Place a second cracker on top. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Slice into portions and serve while hot.
Note: Substitute Giuliano Tartufi salsa tartufata with Sabato pesto all'arrabbiata for a spicy kick!
