This simple and comforting recipe features Sabato gluten-free gnocchi paired with our lively pasta sauce, to which numerous additions can be added if desired. It’s the perfect go-to meal when you want something delicious with minimal effort!
Serves 4
400g Sabato gluten-free gnocchi
360g Sabato organic pasta sauce (all'arrabbiata, basil or puttanesca)
Sal de Añana spring salt
Freshly ground back pepper
Montanari Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
Fresh Basil
Pre-heat oven to 180°C bake.
Place the gnocchi in an ovenproof dish and mix through any optional extras. Pour over the pasta sauce, season with salt and pepper and top with Parmigiano Reggiano. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and continue to bake for another 10 minutes, or until hot and bubbling. Scatter with torn basil leaves to serve.
Optional extras:
- Salvagno pitted olives and/or Pons capers
- L'Authentique pork and fennel sausages removed from their skins, broken into small chunks and fried until golden, adding a couple of tablespoons of Callipo nduja to the pan towards the end of cooking
- Sabato pesto alla Genovese
- Callipo yellowfin tuna in oil, drained and broken into chunks
- Pieces of Pedrazzoli pancetta or coppa crisped in a hot pan
